Welcome to another episode of our Health and Wellbeing series. What is Mindfulness and how can I be more mindful?
We go through a few different exercises that can help you to ground yourself and/or calm you down in difficult times. These include;
- Busy Mind - Senses. 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can touch, 2 things you can smell, and 1 slow breath in and out.
- Overwhelmed - Box breathing/The Breathing Square. Breathing out twice as long as breathing in.
- Low Mood - Hot Cross Bun. What thoughts do I have? What emotions do I feel? What should I do? What happens in my body?
